    Hi everyone!

I just completed a Tableau course and wanted to share some of my experiences and insights, and hopefully spark a discussion:

I learned the importance of selecting the right chart for the data—scatter plots for correlations, line charts for trends, and bullet graphs for targets, among others.

Filters, parameters, and context filters really changed the way I approach interactive dashboards.

Table calculations and LOD expressions were initially challenging, but I now see how powerful they are for advanced analysis.

I practiced building dashboards that are both clear and interactive, using “Use as Filter” and highlighting actions effectively.

I’m curious to hear from others:

How do you decide which charts or filters to use for different types of analysis?

Do you have any tips on making dashboards more engaging for users?

For those who use Tableau professionally, how do you integrate advanced calculations, such as LOD or table calculations, into real-world projects?

I’d love to exchange ideas, tips, and best practices with anyone here. Looking forward to your insights!
