Quest for the Star Crystal
You are a junior game developer at CodeQuest Studios. Your final module challenge is to connect the systems you have already learned into one mini RPG. Create Nova, manage inventory, track a quest, battle an enemy, earn XP, and level up the hero.
What You Will Connect
Character CreationUse dictionaries to store a hero’s name, health, level, and XP.
Inventory ManagementUse lists and simple functions to collect, use, and display game items.
Quest TrackingStore quest status and rewards, then update them when goals are completed.

Teen-friendly design: The capstone does not introduce classes, files, or new advanced Python. Every challenge combines skills from earlier modules using short, readable code. Use Run & Verify, two progressive hints, the AI Tutor, and the solution unlock after three failed attempts.
Your Game Mission
Starfall Village has lost the powerful Star Crystal. Nova must prepare for the journey, accept the quest, enter the Shadow Cave, defeat the Shadow Beast, recover the crystal, and return stronger than before.
